Kim Sangari joined the Louisiana Women’s Healthcare (LWH) team as a servant leader passionate about continuously enhancing the mission of high quality, patient-centered care, in a fiscally responsible manner, and preserving the sanctity of the direct doctor-patient relationship.  

 

Kim has over 30 years of healthcare industry experience, in leadership roles and in the consulting arena:

 

  • Executive leadership positions in Louisiana (statewide, regional & local)
    • CEO of $50M private physician practice, now aligned with a health system
    • CAO of a $2B Academic Health System, which included two health sciences centers, 10 hospitals and an extensive network of clinics
    • CEO & COO of a $300M teaching hospital with 165 beds, 50k annual emergency room encounters, a multi-specialty ambulatory network, 192 residents
    • Strategy director (dual CAO role) for a $500M+ community health system

 

  • Strategic, financial & management consulting (national landscape)
    • 70+ assignments working primarily for governing bodies and CEO’s
    • 20+ strategic planning engagements as lead strategist
    • 19 bond financings – facilitation, financial modeling and demand analysis
    • 15+ engagements involving system alignments, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures
    • 12 financial turnarounds

 

Prior to joining LWH, her professional profile includes:  LSU Health, Earl K. Long Regional Medical Center, Quorum Health Resources, Pitts Management Associates (for health systems), General Health System/Baton Rouge General Medical Center; and Price Waterhouse Coopers. 

 

Recognized for client service and outstanding results at Price Waterhouse by the National Chairman, in the local Baton Rouge business community with a Top 40 Under 40 Business Award, and in the state with the Top CEO Award in the 16th Annual LSU Health System Statewide Healthcare Effectiveness Symposium  – she is most honored to work with the LWH physicians and employees, and to be a team member at One of the Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge (2021 and 2022).

 

Kim holds a Master in Healthcare Administration degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor in Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
