Dr. Crystal Nhieu is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist practicing at Louisiana Women’s Healthcare and is committed to serving the women of our community.
Dr. Nhieu is passionate about patient-centered care and high quality clinical excellence. She truly enjoys providing all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology care to women of all ages, and considers it an honor to help women bring new life into this world. Dr. Nhieu values the opportunity to form meaningful relationships with patients from adolescents, to childbirth all the way through menopause and postmenopause. Dr. Nhieu performs a wide range of surgeries specializing in minimally invasive techniques. She utilizes Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols for improved patient outcomes and to help women recover faster after major procedures.
She received a Bachelor in Science degree from the University of Florida and a Doctorate of Medicine from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Dr. Nhieu served as Chief Resident at LSU Obstetrics and Gynecology at Women’s Hospital prior to joining Louisiana Women’s Healthcare.
In her spare time, Dr. Nhieu and her husband enjoy hanging out with family and friends, spending time by the pool or boating, exercising and cooking.
