Dr. Emily Stephenson is a compassionate and dedicated obstetrician and gynecologist (OB/GYN) at Louisiana Women’s Healthcare. With a deep passion for both delivering babies and forming meaningful relationships with her patients, Dr. Stephenson is committed to ensuring every patient feels heard, supported, and respected throughout their pregnancy and healthcare journey.
Dr. Stephenson takes great pride in getting to know each patient personally, understanding their unique stories and individual needs. Whether guiding patients through prenatal visits, labor, or postpartum recovery, she places a strong emphasis on open communication, collaboration, and a patient-centered approach to care.

Originally from Central, Louisiana, Dr. Stephenson earned her medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at LSU in Baton Rouge, where she also served as Chief Resident from 2023-2024, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to excellence in patient care.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Stephenson is relishing life as a new mom. A devoted LSU Tigers football fan, she enjoys volunteering in her community and participating in her book club, where she loves connecting with others over shared reading experiences.
