COVID-19 Update: Modified Visitor Restrictions as of 8/16/21

Your health and safety are our number one priority. The following steps are designed to protect you, your family, our team members, and the community.

NO VISITOR POLICY

Beginning August 16, 2021, all patients with scheduled appointments with their OB/GYN will need to come alone. We are currently unable to allow any visitors until further notice. The only exceptions include:

·   Ultrasound Visits: One support person over the age of 16.

·   Post-delivery OB visits: Newborn/infants allowed.

All patients and approved visitors will be required to follow Woman’s Hospital’s protocols for clearance into the Physician Office Building.

FACE MASKS REQUIRED

Everyone – including team members, providers, patients and visitors– are required to wear a mask or face covering at all times when inside our facility. Please bring your mask or face covering with you. If you do not have a face covering, you will not be allowed entrance into the building. If you are unvaccinated, we respectfully ask that you wear an N95 mask to best protect you and others around you.

VENDORS AND PHARMACEUTICAL REPRESENTATIVES

All vendors and pharmaceutical representatives will need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test obtained within the last 4 days in order to enter our facility. Food vendors will not be permitted beyond the lobby.

YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY

The physicians of Louisiana Women’s Healthcare continue to monitor and follow the guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOG), Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine (SMFM), International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ISUOG), the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), and the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME).  Please note our policies may evolve over time depending on our response to public health recommendations. Again, we are doing this to protect the health and safety of our patients, staff, clinicians and community. Thank you for your understanding.
